Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Yours Truly RSVP ("Yours Truly", "we", "us") operates the digital invitation and RSVP platform at yourstruly.rsvp. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at yourstrulyrsvp@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and (if you use Google Sign-In) your profile picture. We receive this from Google OAuth — we do not store your Google password.

Event and invitation data

Names, event dates, locations, photos, and other content you add to your invitation. This is your content and remains yours.

Guest data

Guest names and phone numbers you add to your guest list, plus RSVP responses (confirmed / declined) and optional food preferences or table assignments.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or full bank details. We only receive a transaction record (amount, status, and a Stripe reference ID).

Usage data

Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging. We do not run advertising analytics or sell this data.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and serve your digital invitation to guests.
  • To process your RSVP confirmations and display them in your dashboard.
  • To process payments and issue your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (payment confirmation, account-related notices).
  • To improve the platform and fix bugs.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the platform:

SupabaseDatabase and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored on servers in the US.
StripePayment processing. Subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.
Google OAuthOptional sign-in method. We receive your name, email, and profile picture.
VercelHosting and serverless functions. Processes requests globally.

5. Data retention

Your invitation data is kept for the duration of your active subscription — 12 months for wedding invitations and 3 months for event invitations. After expiry, your invitation and all associated guest data is deleted. Account information is retained until you request deletion.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing yourstrulyrsvp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from your dashboard settings.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — specifically, a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. No consent banner is needed because we only use strictly necessary cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
