Terms of Service

1. The service

Yours Truly RSVP ("Yours Truly", "we", "us") provides a digital invitation and RSVP management platform at yourstruly.rsvp. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Pricing and payments

Access to a published invitation requires a one-time payment. Pricing is displayed at checkout and varies by event type (wedding or event) and active promotions.

All payments are non-refundable. Once an invitation is activated, the full service is delivered immediately — there is no partial-use proration or refund for unused time.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

3. Subscriptions and expiry

Each invitation has a fixed active period — 12 months for wedding invitations and 3 months for event invitations — starting from the date of payment. After expiry, the invitation is deactivated and no longer accessible to guests. Your account and dashboard remain accessible so you can export your guest data before it is removed.

4. Your content

You own the content you upload (names, photos, messages, and other event details). You grant us a limited license to store and serve that content solely for the purpose of operating your invitation. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content:

  • Does not infringe on the rights of others (copyright, trademark, privacy).
  • Is not illegal, harmful, threatening, or defamatory.
  • Does not contain malware, spam, or deceptive material.

5. Intellectual property

The platform, template designs, UI, and underlying code are owned by Yours Truly RSVP. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our templates or platform design without written permission. Your personal content (names, photos, event details) remains yours.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our infrastructure.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without authorization.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep it available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yours Truly RSVP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost data, lost profits, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected invitation.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice or refund. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a violation, we will provide a pro-rated refund where reasonably possible.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
